Zahara to establish Booming Flower Girls project

South African Afro-Jazz star Zahara is planning to establish a Booming Flower Girls project aimed at inspiring young girls to take up music as a career.

The star said, through the project, she will be collecting guitars and sharing with girls who have passion for music to help them nurture and realize their potential.

Speaking to Capital fm in Lilongwe, Zahara said as a girl who has lived most of her life in a South African Village, she wishes to inspire more African girls who do not have the opportunity to shine, to make it big in their lives.

She was in the country on a Standard Bank sponsored trip to perform during their 42nd anniversary celebrations.
