JB orders Min. of Local Govt to facilitate registration of Lilongwe Vendors Association.

President Mrs Joyce Banda has directed the Ministry of Local Government to facilitate the registration of Lilongwe Vendors Association.

The directive comes after the meeting the vendors had with President Banda at the New State House.

After the meeting Minister of Local Government and rural developmement honourable Grace Maseko also directed the ministry through Lilongwe City Assembly to allocate offices for the Assocaition.

In his remarks chairperson for Lilongwe Vendors Association Mr James Soko commended the President for putting the welfare of the vendors at heart.

He however urged President Banda to provide loans to the association to boost their businesses.
