Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has on behalf of the sport body commiserated with the President of the Football Association of Malawi, Walter Nyamilandu, expressing shock and profound sadness at the death his wife.
The wife, Maria Inglis, was killed in a car crash in which Nyamilandu was also hurt last month.
Kwesi Nyantakyi said: “On behalf of all the membership of the Ghana Football Association, we are deeply saddened by your loss. We extend our most sincere condolences to yourself, the family, friends and loved ones.”
The couple were traveling to watch a game when their vehicle crushed.
