Fuel shortage affects progress BT-ZA road

The shortage of fuel that the country has been experiencing in the past months is one of the major challenges affecting progress on the Blantyre-Zomba road project, officials from the Roads Authority have said. Project Engineer Andy Koloko said work on the road is behind schedule. He said so far only 12 percent of the work on the road has been completed. Koloko said according the initial plan, the contractor was supposed to have done 33 percent of the job.
