Music icon Billy Kaunda rolls back, to realise album soon

Billy Kaunda who is also a member of Parliament for Mzimba West is putting pieces together for his new album at his own BK studio in Chinyonga, Blantyre.

Kaunda who was voted best musician of the year during the defunct MBC’s Entertainers of the Year said despite being haunted by the evil ghost of piracy, he will start working on his new album next week.

“I have been busy with family affairs and other things that’s why is has taken me a time to release another album, but now am back into business,” said the Mwapindulanji hit maker.

Billy Kaunda started his music career while in school and church before joining Zembani Band of Lucius Banda. He then quit Zembani band and form hi own group known as Armageddon.

Meanwhile, his son Brian has cut an album and some single are enjoying considerable airplay in our local radio stations.
