Vice President Khumbo Kachali purchases 52 new trucks

As Malawians are wallowing in untold poverty as a result of the devaluation effected in May last year, Malawi’s vice president Khumbo Hastings Kachali has coughed billions of Malawi kwacha to purchase 52 new trucks about 10 months into the State Vice Presidency.

Currently, the trucks which landed in the country on duty free recently are being garaged by Ninkawa and Simama Transporters as one way of blackmailing Malawians that Khumbo has no hand on those trucks.

Ninkawa and Simama have won all the government’s transportation tenders, taking over from Mulli Brothers among others hence the trust to take care of the vehicles.

It is not known on where Khumbo sourced the billion kwachas to purchase those trucks.

The development has landed at a time where Malawians are dying due to the economic challenges facing the country
