President Joyce Banda will from today re-launch crop inspection tour which used to be the trade mark of the original Ngwazi Dr Kamuzu Banda in his 31 year rule of this country. This is according to a press statement released by government press officer yesterday. And tomorrow, she will be at T/A Kapeni and Makata area.
This comes against the background of criticisms that the president is like ” Siku vehicle” with its trade mark of “here today, there tomorrow”. They say a president must be able to sit in office and think of making sound policies. Furthermore, she is always accused of global as well as local trotting at a time where the country is passing through economic problems.
