Flames acting coach asked to involve local players

Sports commentators have asked Flames acting coach E. Ng’onamo to consider giving full game time to local finest strikers including Gabadinho Society Mhango and Aicco Maluwa.

They have however advised the coach to refrain from regionalism as was the case with former coach Kinnah Phiri.

“Some of us still wonder why promising strikers like this young man Aicco Maluwa were being left out, but anyway as you all know, he is not a northerner and to be honest, I also hated the way Kinnah treated Fisher Kondowe,” said Yamikani Gwaza Chisi, an online sports reporter and commentator.

Malawi is expected to play Namibia on March 23 but government is yet to release funds for the game.
