There is nothing worse than a president that lies to the people constantly. A state visit to the UK involves being a guest of the queen of England, sleeping at Buckingham palace and riding with the queen on the streets like Kamuzu Banda did all those years ago.
In the US it involves an elaborate military parade at the White House. Records show both of these did not happen when President Banda visited the two countries. Why then is she still insisting or lying to Malawians that she had state visits to the UK and USA.
State visits are highest honor a host country can give a visiting head of state. What is her agenda for making such claims. 2014 will be an important election for Malawi.
