The Malawi Ernergy Regulatory Framework (MERA) has announced revised priced of Petrol and Diesel. MERA says the reduction is as a result of Kwacha appreciation.
The new prices of Petrol and Diesel are as follows:-
Petrol will now be selling at MK680.80 down from MK694.30, a reduction of 2 per cent
Diesel will now be selling at MK657.40 down from MK677.20, a reduction of 3 per cent
The price of paraffin remains at MK171
These prices have been effected 6AM today [June 6, 2013; 0600 hours)
