Let Bakili join Malawi-Tanzania lake wrangle

Youthful political activist Suleman Atupele Chitera says President Joyce Banda should let former Malawi leader Bakili Muluzi to handle the Lake Malawi wrangle with Tanzania on behalf of the nation.

Malawi woke up to a shock this week after learning that her eastern neibough Tanzania has decided to defile rules of negotiation and device plans to put ships on the disputed water body.

And Chitera believes the mere fact that the issue was almost non-existane during the reigns of the three former president, clearly indicates that they were good at negotiating on very sensitive matters.

“With Kamuzu Banda and Mutharika long dead, I believe Muluzi should come in and apply the same skilled he employed during histime on this matter,” said the Chiradzulu based political activist and pioneer of local social networks
