Machinga’s T/A Sitola Tells Constituents Not To Vote For Incumbent PP MP Mwalone Jangiya In Her Presence

Verbal war has ensued between Traditional Authority Sitola of Machinga and Machinga Likwenu legislator Mwalone Jangiya after the chief openly discouraged her constituents from voting her back in 2014.
It all started when Press Cooperation was handing over two school blocks. The chief blasted the Peoples Party MP, accusing her of enriching herself when the rest of the constituents were wallowing in abject poverty.
The chief said he will question the constituents’ wisdom if they vote her back saying, for instance, she is failing to constructa bridge at one of the rivers which is highly infested with crocodiles.
The outspoken Sitola said as a result of such development unconsciousness on the part of the legislator, a number of people in the area have been killed while many others seriously injured with the deadly reptiles.
