Rev Mhango will not contest for an MP seat

Reverend Chimwemwe Mhango who recently announced that he would be contesting for the seat of Member of Parliament in Mzimba Solola constituency has rescinded his decision saying he wants to concentrate on serving God.

Mhango said after careful thought and getting advice from relatives and other people, he believes this is not the right time for him to contest although people in the constituency wanted him to do so.

He said he would like to complete the work of God at the moment revealing that he has already served more than 23 years and that he is supposed to serve 30 years.
