Saturday’s world cup qualifier involving Nigeria and Malawi’s Flames will also be used as part of campaign against Malaria.

The disease remains one of the biggest killers in both countries and across the globe with millions dying every year.

Football authorities in Nigeria have announced that they will use the match, to be played in Calabar to support the campaign against the epidemic.

Players from both teams are expected to carry banners, minutes before kickoff, to create awareness about the dangers posed by Malaria.
