Academician cum activist Kabwila to become MCP spokesperson

The oldest political party in the land, Malawi Congress Party, is set to have a press conference this morning. At the press conference, the party is set to announce some new members of the Executive of the party.

According to reports coming in, most party members that served with Jon Tembo are missing from the list of those added as new members of the Executive who are just appointed by those that were voted into their positions.

However, a shocker awaits the Malawi public as outspoken critic of both the Mutharika and Banda (Joyce) governments, Jessie Kabwila, who is also a lecturer at the Chancellor College of the University of Malawi is said to have been appointed the spokesperson of the party replacing Jolly Kalelo who was one described as childish by former party president, John Tembo.
