JB meets with Muluzi to discuss on next cabinet

Unconfirmed reports from the city of Blantyre indicates that President Joyce Banda who dissolved her entire cabinet on Thursday met with retired President, Bakili Muluzi, at his BCA residence where the two had lengthy talks over the issue of forming the next cabinet.

The reports indicate that the leader of the Malawi nation had a lengthy talk with the ex-UDF chairperson whose son is the current UDF leader on the names that will have to be integrated into the new cabinet President Mrs. Banda is set to announce anytime soon.

Over the weekend, reports went flying that President Banda had approached personalities from opposition parties to work with them in forming the new cabinet but had been given a cold shoulder by most of them even though some had asked for time to consult on the issue while others had expressed downright optimism to join the PP led government.

President Banda’s next cabinet is being waited for with baited breaths as it will be a make or break one for her party and even decide her fate in the 2014 tripartite elections.
