JB travels to Nigeria today

Amidst a theoretical austerity measures that has proposed a reduction in presidential and other civil servants travels, President Joyce Banda travels to Nigeria today on a private visit.

President Banda is expected to deliver a lecture on democracy and governance in Nigeria tomorrow but will be traveling to the West African nation this morning with the plane to carry her expected to depart at 11 a.m.

Whereas this has been labeled a private visit to deliver the lecture, some quarters have argued that the President is also to use this opportunity to meet one of her spiritual counselors, TB Joshua, amidst the prophecy of some local prophet, Austin Liabunya, who has said that God has instructed him to tell President Banda to resign.
