Mutharika cries foul over condolence money at Kazembe’s funeral

DPP Presidential candidate, Peter Mutharika, has cried foul over a decision to not announce his MK100,000 he gave to the Kazembe family as condolence for the death of Eunice Kazembe who served as Minister in the DPP led government before being appointed into Joyce Banda’s cabinet.

According to a Facebook post on the DPP torchbearer’s page, “Mai Luphale, mother to Mrs Manganaye Mphande, instructed the MC at the funeral of Hon Eunice Kazembe not to announce the K100,000 given by the DPP President as condolence to the family. No reason was given.”
