Civil servants protest over unpaid salaries

Civil servants in the Capital city, Lilongwe, have taken to the streets to protest their unpaid November salaries.

FaceofMalawi can confirm that a team of civil servants have made their way through the infamous Capitol hill known for the Cashgate scandal to array their grievances.

This development comes hot on the heels of the suspension of the IFMIS plan which was accused of being easily abused by civil servants to drain government coffers.
