Five die in Dedza of starvation

Late Mutharika said Malawi is not poor but it is her people that are poor. Of those people, one can be sure, the elite of this nation were not in it. The elite live in opulence mostly funded by Cashgate means while the others suffer and struggle, even die.

Reports indicate that five people in Dedza have died of starvation or the lack of food. The report follows yet another media report which indicated that people in Balaka have been spending nights on queues at ADMARC waiting for maize without the maize being seen to come from anywhere.

Malawi is on a brink of a serious hunger despite the President disposing off the Presidential jet at an alleged U$ 15 million which was to be used in buying maize for the people that were to face the predicament of maize shortage.
