DPP deputy spokesperson, Winiko, spotted at Sanjika palace

Is he defecting or not?

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) deputy spokesperson who is also a well-known comedian, Bon Kalindo aka Winiko, has been reportedly seen entering the gates of Sanjika palace to hold discussions with state President, Joyce Banda.

The development has apparently brought some discomforts amongst the DPP camp as they are fearing that they will lose Winiko to their rivals at this time when elections are just close by.

However, the comedian has assured the blue camp that he is still with them and is not moving to anywhere. When asked by the Mutharika owned Galaxy FM, on why he had to be visiting the state President, Kalindo said that the President had been attempting to talk him into withdrawing an injunction he and others obtained against the mining of bauxite in Mulanje mountain.

Whether he is acting or not, nobody knows but him and the President alone — or just him only, the President might just be part of his comedy script.
