Games begin: Kasambara claims Lutepo masterminded ESCOM arson

He warned that when his time to speak comes, he shall speaking and it seems lawyer and politician Ralph Kasambara has just started doing that.

After being implicated in the MK 3.6 billion that Oswald Lutepo is accused of siphoning from the public coffers by Lutepo himself, Kasambara has come in the open to declare that it is Lutepo who masterminded the fire that razed down the ESCOM building in Blantyre last year.

Posting on Facebook, Kasambara who is answering charges of conspiring to murder the budget director, Paul Mphwiyo, made the allegation that Lutepo was the one who had sent boys to raze down ESCOM with fire after it was discovered that he had been given an advance payment of a half of a MK 650 million by ESCOM on goods he was yet to deliver.

According to Kasambara, after Lutepo failed to honour the priomise, he organized boys to set the ESCOM offices ablaze.

Up to date, no official report has been released on the fire that razed down ESCOM and with it went other valuable documents.
