Robbers rape Pastor’s wife after robbing church

The temptation must be too much for the man of God and this is where he needs prayers the most.

Armed robbers last Sunday ransacked Dzenza CCAP church in Lilongwe going out with assorted items from the church after midnight. This was the very same day that the Pastor had been on the pulpit preaching to his congregation.

However, after the church ransack, the robbers went a step further and attacked the Pastor’s residence (also called the Manse) and gang-raped the Pastor’s wife together with a girl that lived with the family of the Pastor.

As we took to press, Police had confirmed of the development and had indicated that investigations were underway and arrests were yet to be made on the issue.

The development comes barely a week after a Catholic church was robbed as well in Blantyre’s area of Chileka with the robbers stealing the holy Eucharist, prompting the church to stage a mass vigil.
