Flames drops on Fifa rankings


National team the Flames has slide down  with a single step from 116 to 117 on Fifa Coca-cola ranking released  on Thursday on www.fifa.com.

The flames which is now headed by  Young Chimodzi, have been idle for six months. The  fall was automatic as most teams were busy during the 2014 Africa Nations Champion on the shoes of South Africa last Month and Malawi nation was not there.

Not only that, in Africa the Frames have been rated number 33 with Ivory coast, Ghana ,Algeria ,Egypt and Cape Verde making the number one, two, three, four and five respectively.

While in the Cosafa region Malawi still maintains its position which is number six with South Africa leading the group followed by Zambia, Angola, Botswana and Zimbabwe
