The Forensic Audit report into the financial scandal at Capital Hill has revealed that 13.6 billion Kwacha of public funds was looted.
The report, which has been produced British forensic auditors Baker Tilly, shows that out of the total amount 3.7 billion Kwacha was plundered from the Ministry of Tourism.
The report is not naming and shaming the suspects involved in the plundering of tax payers money, a development that has irked the citizenry.
This is despite the fact that over 68 people have been arrested and are facing trial in connection with the scandal dubbed ‘cashgate’ by the media.
