Motorists in Blantyre and surrounding districts will now have a chance of easily processing their driving licenses and other vehicle papers.
This follows the purchase of a new license for the software used to capture driver images and data by the Department of Road Traffic and Safety Services, formerly known as the Road Traffic Directorate.
In a public notice, the Department has assured all its clients especially drivers who wish to renew their driving license and learner drivers who wish to acquire a driving license, that the Department is now fully equipped and ready to provide the required documents on time.
The Department has also advised its clients against using middlemen or any other persons apart from its bonafide personnel operating from its offices in Mzuzu, Lilongwe, Blantyre and Zomba.
