FDH Bank’s Zatheka account promo hits 300 customers

FDH bank customers continue to open accounts with the bank through the Zatheka promotion with more than 300 of them qualifying for the fourth draw in a space of a week.

This draw marks a month since the promotion and the new account were introduced in the country by the fastest growing commercial bank.

The bank launched the K4 million promotion which among other things aims at promoting the saving culture amongst Malawians.

The new savings account provides the bank’s new and current customers an 18% interest rate on their savings.

Speaking to the media, head of personal and business banking Kawawa Nsapato says they did not expect such a response as they have received in the fourth week.

“Chances are still available for the public to enjoy the benefits of this account” said Nsapato.

He explained that for one to be eligible to enter the promotion, they have to open a Zatheka savings account which has a minimum balance of K10,000 and do a deposit of K50,000.

Lucky customers, one from each region have been winning K50, 000 each and a weekly grand prize to one winner of K150,000.

The overall grand prize of K1 million cash prizes will be given out during the final draw slated for May 9, 2014.
