Aw, bless Pharrell Williams. He might try and hide under that daft hat but inside he really is a big softie if this interview with Oprah Winfrey is anything to go by.
The singer and producer sat down with the American interviewing queen to chat about his recent success on Oprah Prime.
Williams discussed the huge and rapid success of his single Happy, which has gone to number one in countries across the globe.
During the interview, Oprah played a video montage for Williams of fan-made videos inspired by the song.
Clearly overcome by the clips, he started crying: ‘Why am I crying on Oprah?’
‘It’s overwhelming because I love what I do and I just appreciate the fact that people have believed in me for so long that I could make it to this point.’
Assuring him that she ‘got it’, ever prepared Oprah thankfully had the tissues to hand.
