As various political parties in the country continues to sale themselves to the electorate ahead of May tripartite election, the ruling People’s party (PP) under the leadership of Madam Joyce Banda has today organized whistle stop tour in the city of Blantyre.
The whistle stop tour is currently underway in the City.
The head of state is expected to visit Chilobwe,Manje,Makheta, Ndirande Central, Ndirande Chinseu, Chileka, Chirimba, Che Mussa,Malabada and Chilomoni township.
President Banda ascended to power after the death of the late President Professor Bingu Wa Mutharika in 2012.
The forthcoming tripartite election on May 20 will be the first test for President Banda.
