With about two weeks to go before the country host its first ever tripartite election, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has maintained its position of winning the forthcoming elections.

MCP spokesperson Dr Jessie Kabwila said this in an interview with one of the local media house in the country.

“Just go in villages you will see yourself the support MCP enjoys. We dont give hand-outs but people love the MCP for the sake of love while some go to the rallies of other political parties expecting to receive something”, said Kabwira.

She was also quick to say that if the out come does not go on their way, they will accept the results.

MCP which ruled the country for 31 years is looking for a comeback after a 20 years break.
