FIVE IN POLICE CUSTODY FOR CAMPAIGNING OUTSIDE THE CAMPAIGN PERIOD

Just barely few hours before the country host the first ever tripartite election, Police in Nsanje have arrested five people for allegedly doing campaign outside the campaign period.
According to Nsanje Police spokesperson, the five were spotted Yesterday evening giving incentives to people and asking them to vote for Sam Ganda .
Ganda is standing as an independent Candidate for Nsanje lalanje Constituency.
Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) closed the campaign period on Sunday 6:00am
