JUDGE HEALEY POTANI RECUSES HIMSELF FROM HEARING CASE OVER MEC’S MANDATE TO RECOUNT VOTES

Judge Healey Potani has reluctantly recused himself from hearing a case over Electoral Commission’s mandate to recount votes or to still hold the results after its eight day mandate.
Sometime back Judge Potani recused himself in a case involving MEC and Dr. Jessie Kabwira because he said he has a relation at MEC so he was asked by MCP lawyer Gustav Kaliwo to do the same and he obeyed.
This means hearing has stalled as efforts to identify a new Judge are underway.
