Malawi national team, the flames yesterday went down 1-0 to the Taifa stars of Tanzania in an International friendly match played in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
The friendly was played in redness for 2015 African Cup of Nation (AFCON) second leg qualifying campaign against Chad on May 30.
Flames conceded a goal in 36th minute of the first half.
This was the second meeting between the two side in the space of two weeks as the first meeting ended in a draw.
Malawi just need a draw in Chad to progress in the next round of the qualifying campaign while Chad which is trailing down by two goals need a win to overturn the tables.
