Malawi nation team the flames is through to the final preliminary round of the 2015 African Cup Nation (AFCON) despite 3-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Chad over the Weekend in Nd’jamena.
Forward Robin Ngalande came from the bench to score the most important goal for the flames to progress in the next stage through away goal rule.
Malawi outclassed Chad 2-0 at Kamuzu Stadium in the first leg of the preliminary round.
The first half end 3-0 in favour of Chad with goals from Rodrique Ninga and Casimir Rodrigues
Meanwhile Malawi will face Benin in July.
