Commonwealth Parliament Association (CPA) Post Election Seminar for the newly elected Members of Parliament of the Malawi National Assembly is underway at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC), Lilongwe.
The official opening was presided over by Mr. Roosevelt Gondwe, Acting Clerk of the National Assembly of Malawi on Wednesday morning, 11 June, 2014.
The seminal aims at alerting the newly elected MPs on how to conduct themselves during deliberations at the August House
Inkosi ya Makosi Gomani IV, Paramount Chief Kyungu, Paramount Chief Lundu and Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe were among the guests at the ceremony.
Meanwhile next week the newly elected Members of Parliament are expected to meet to select Speaker of Parliament.
