Malawi’s new first couple will be paraded around town tomorrow after officiating their marriage at St Micheals and All Angels in Blantyre, information has indicated.
According to a news bulletin carried on the national Television, MBCtv, Mutharika will travel together with his wife from the venue of the officiation in an open van and travel all the way around the city of Blantyre.
From the city of Blantyre, the new Mutharikas will take to Limbe which will also mean the journey of the two towards Mutharika’s home district of Thyolo at the family’s Ndata farm where a private wedding ceremony will take place.
President Peter Mutharika is tomorrow marrying his girlfriend Grace Hendrina Maseko of Balaka hardly a month after becoming President of the country.
