MUTHARIKA TO LEAD MALAWIANS IN CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE ON SUNDAY

President Professor Author Peter Mutharika will on Sunday lead thousands of Malawians in Celebrating 50 years of Independence in Lilongwe which will start with the prayers at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC).

This has been disclosed in a press release released today which Face of Malawi has in possession.

According to the statement, Mutharika will arrive at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) at exactly 7:30am and later Mutharika will proceed to Civo Stadium where the main invent to mark 50years of self rule will be celebrated.

The Golden Jubilee celebration will reach at its climax late afternoon where there will be an International Friendly match between Malawi and Mozambique.
