Unknown thugs dressed in Police Uniform in Dedza descended at a local Standard Bank in the district where they went away with K4 million.
Dedza Police spokesperson Edward Kabango confirmed of the incident with one of the local media house [ZBS].
“We did not find the robbers when we arrived at the scene but we were told that they were in police uniforms”, he said.
According to the police, the thugs invaded the bank when workers were balancing the transactions and they were eight in number.
Meanwhile no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
