As Muslims throughout Malawi mark the end of 30 days of Ramadan, the State President Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika, extends his best wishes to all Muslims in the country as they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Government of Malawi appreciates the cordial relationship that exists between it and Muslim organisations, individuals and businesses that endeavour to reduce poverty through the provision of charitable undertakings in the fields of education and health among others.
May God bless and guide all Muslims on this occasion as they not only celebrate the end of fasting, but also thank Allah for the help and strength that he gave them throughout the month to help them practise self-control.
