Malawians will for the first time have chance of meeting face to face with Nigerian Nollywood Stars, Chinedu Ekedieze and Osita Iheme (Aki na Ukwa) who are scheduled to visit Malawi.

This has been disclosed by M Cinema Managing Director Ukokporo Nathaniel.

“We are hosting Aki na Pawpaw in September at an event where music will meet comedy. Other than the two coming, Nigerian gospel artist Agatha Moses is also coming”, said Nathaniel.

The tour of Malawi is scheduled for September 26 to 28 with events spread across Lilongwe and Blantyre.

We will have a gospel show in Lilongwe on Friday September 26 at Lilongwe Golf Club. We will have local artists like Kamuzu Barracks, Great Angels Choir, Marvellous Deeds, Ndirande Anglican voices, Lloyd Phiri and the Happiness Voices among others. The Blantyre show will be on the following Sunday at Blantyre Sports Club.

At both venues, the local artists will perform a song with Agatha. They will rehearse the song which was also done by the Nigerian artists in readiness for the show. Aki na Pawpaw on the other hand, will do a comedy sketch with one of Malawi’s standup comedian Diana ‘Dee’ Satha”, explained Nathaniel.
