A 43-year-old man is reported dead in Lake Malawi after being attacked by a crocodile.
The development comes barely weeks after another man was also attacked and killed by crocodile in Lake malombe in Mangochi District.
Mangochi police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Rodrick Maida confirmed of the development and identified the deceased as Cedrick Gama employed in the fishing industry as a diver went on routine duties on the night of Sunday.
Maida said Gama went on the fishing excursion at Kholowere Fishing Beach in Lake Malawi together with his colleagues before meeting his fate.
Postmortem conducted at Monkey – Bay Community Hospital revealed that death was due to loss of blood.
The deceased hails from Mpinganjira Village in the area of Senior Chief Mponda in the district
