TWO MORE INDEPENDENT MPs DEFECT TO UDF, DPP

Independent Members of Parliament for two constituencies on Tuesday petitioned Speaker of Parliament informing him that people from their constituencies have advise them to switch to various political parties.

The two are MP for Nsanje South West Dr. Joseph Malunga and Mangochi Masongola, Rashid Msusa.

Making the announcement in Parliament, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Esther Mcheka Chilenje said Member of Parliament for Nsanje South West will be switching to the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and Member for Mangochi Masongola to United Democratic Front (UDF).

According to Chilenje,the two Members of Parliament will be changing seats in parliament to the new respective seats as arranged by the Speaker of Parliament.
