JB’s SISTER MOVED TO OPC

Reports reaching FaceofMalawi indicates that President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has removed former President Joyce Banda’s sister, Anjimile Mtila-Oponyo, from the position of principal secretary for Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Mtila-Oponyo has been moved to the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) and her position has been replaced by Thokozile Banda.
This has been disclosed in a letter dated August 27 2014 signed by acting Chief Secretary to the President by then, Willie Samute addressed to Mtila-Oponyo.
Meanwhile Oponyo’s new role at OPC is not yet known.
