PP COUNSELLOR DIES IN KARONGA

Death has been announced of former ruling People’s Party (PP) Counsellor for Karonga South Kafwirangachi Nyirenda.

The development comes barely days after the party also lost its Mzuzu city’s Chibanja South ward counselor Charles Nyirongo who police reported was killed in a love affair fight over a divorced woman.

According to Frank Kadali Mkandawire, a family member, the deceased has for a long time suffered from High Blood pressure and last week was admitted at Mzuzu Central Hospital (MCH)where he passed on last Tuesday.

Speaking on behalf of former President Dr. Joyce Banda Mzuzu city deputy Mayor Frazer Chunga who is also the party’s National Executive Committee Council (NEC) member said the party is deeply sadden with the death of Nyirenda.

Nyirenda,40 is survived by three children and a wife.
