RADIO 247 MALAWI DJ WINS MISS MALAWI UK

A radio DJ with the celebrated UK based internet radio, Radio 247 Malawi has won this year’s Miss Malawi UK title.

In a contest that took place in the city of Birmingham, Rose Mmangisa aka DJ Rose emerged the winner after impressing the judges.

The Birmingham event was organised by Henry Ngwira and Kondi Munthali of H &K Events and also at the event was Malawi’s top Musician Mlaka Maliro.

Malawians from different Uk Cities including people of other nationalities graced the occasion as the Malawian beauties showcased their modelling talents on the catwalk.

Expressing his excitement, Radio 247 Malawi’s Publicist and Head of Business Development Chalo Banton said “Rose Mmangisa winning the crown is fantastic news for our radio station, we knew she would make it as she is intelligent, talented and beautiful.

He went further to say the whole 247 Malawi team will work with her through her term to help make her reign memorable and of impact to Malawians and people of other nations.
In her statement, the new Miss Malawi Uk thanked everybody who stood by her and believed in her.
