Police in Ntcheu are hunting for unknown thugs who have hijacked a vehicle belonging to Southern bottlers (SOBO) Limited Security Manager.
Ntcheu Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Hastings Chigaru confirmed of the development and identified the vehicle registration number as BN 1986.
According to Chigaru, the thugs hijacked the vehicle when the security manager identified as Precious Chirwa, 52 stopped between manjawira and Senzani trading centres to buy charcoal.
The driver told the police that the thugs tied him and later dumped him in Ntonda, along the earth road that lead to Mozambique via Tsangano.
Meanwhile the police have arrested the Security manager.
