Police in Blantyre have arrested a 32 year old man for continuous having sex with an under aged male.
FaceofMalawi speaking to Blantyre Police spokesperson Elizabeth Divala, said the suspect Davie Ngwira, hails from Kankhande Village Traditional Authority (T/A) Chilowamatambe in Kasungu and in an employee of Blantyre City Council (BCC).
Ngwira is said to have been giving the boy (12 years old) between K100 and k200 after September when the boy’s father reported the matter to police, who later arrested him.
A medical report according to the police confirmed that the boy was having anal sex with a man.
According to the boy’s mother (name withheld) said “the boy’s behaviour made me suspicious as he looked unhappy, weak, frequently coughing and was mostly sleeping most of the time.”
“I gave him Bactrium and Panado, but thing however didn’t change that’s when I took him to the hospital. However after explaining the symptoms, we were again given some painkillers,” said the mother.
“One day I called my son to the bedroom and quizzed him to explain what had been happening whilst assuring him that I’d keep the matter to myself, that’s when he revealed that Ngiwra had been having anal sex with Him,” explained the concerned mother.
