Three people including the driver have sustained serious injuries in Zomba this morning after a truck they were travelling in overturned at Likangala bridge close to Zomba Central Hospital.
According to one of the privately owned radio [ZBS] reporter Cassim Aubi who witnessed the accident, the truck registration number KU 263, carrying about 600 bags of fertilizer was coming from Lilongwe heading to Nthondwe.
Aubi said upon arrival at Likangala bridge, the driver of the truck who is yet to be identified failed to negotiate the diversion and lost control of the vehicle.
Meanwhile the truck driver and three others have been rushed to Zomba Central Hospital where they are receiving treatment.
