MUTHARIKA APPOINTS NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PARASTATALS

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed new board members of statutory corporations which comprises of technocrats, Politicians,the clergy as well as traditional leaders.

The full list from the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC) was released on Monday 10,2014.

According to the list, Monsignor Boniface Tamani of Blantyre Catholic Diocese is the board chairman of Malawi Broadcasting corporation (MBC) along with Madalitso Mmeta,Elube Kandewu,Mr Pharao Phiri, Pastor Fraxon Kuyama, Mr Wisdom Chimgwede of Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) and others.

While the outspoken Consumer rights activist, John Kapito is chairing Southern Region Water Board and its members are;Mrs. Magret Sauzande, Mrs. J. Theka, Dr. Mwiza Nkhata, Mr. Yona Mlotha, Mr Jimmy Banda
Rev. Chimenya , Rev. Baxter Maulidi, Mr. Moza Zeleza, Hon. Namatumbo and T.A Kalembo.
