Police in Kasungu have arrested 53 Ethiopians for entering the country without proper documents.
The Police have also arrested a Malawi national identified as Peter Harawa aged 32 in the process for allegedly aiding and abetting the foreigners.
Police in Kasungu said the Ethiopians were arrested at Lisasadzi following a tip off from members of the public.
They were being driven to Lilongwe in a Motor Vehicle Registration Number DA 5607 whose driver Harawa.
The Ethiopians will appear in court soon to answer the charge of entering Malawi without permit while Harawa will be answering the charge of aiding and abetting illegal immigrants.
Harawa hails from Chikuzya village TA Mwalweni in Rumphi.
